Expect an Increase

“The angel said to Mary, fear not, for you have found favor with God” (Luke 1:30). And God’s angel is telling you today, fear not, for you have found favor with God.

You are joined to Jesus for both a relationship and redemptive purposes. Come alive to your responsibilities and privileges of being an heir together with Christ (Romans 8:17). You have entered into a Father-son or Father-daughter relationship with God, and for that reason, God highly favors you.

Meditate constantly on blessing others. Radiate love and goodwill to everyone you come in contact with. Soon, you will see that God is giving favor and blessings back to you, with abundance.

When Jesus said, “Give and it shall be given unto you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over.” He wasn't just talking about giving money (Luke 6:38). The apostle Paul pointed out that, “Whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap” (Galatians 6:7). Jesus said what we sow, we reap with an increase.

Ephesians 6:8 tells us, “Know that whatsoever good thing any man does, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.”

If you sow money to promote the gospel or help those in need, you will get money back with increase. If you sow love, you will receive love back with increase. If you sow favor, favor will come back to you with increase. It's the law of sowing and reaping.

For that reason, sow graciousness, kindness, and favor with everyone you come in contact with, and your life will soon be overflowing with those good things.

When you live life according to God's way, you cannot fail.
