Nothing Will Be Impossible
Jesus said, “If two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 18:19).
Jesus made a pretty powerful statement, don’t you think? He basically said, “If we can agree, we can have.”
Perhaps nowhere in the Bible do we see the potential of the power of agreement more than at the tower of Babel.
The sinners at the tower of Babel in Genesis 11, had such agreement that God had to come down and break their unity by confounding their language. God said that, “Anything they could imagine to do, they would be able to do, because of their unity” (Genesis 11:6).
Genesis 11:5-6, “And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men built. And the LORD said, Behold, the people are one, and they have all one language, and they all have the same goal; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them (impossible for them), which they have imagined to do.”
If nothing would be impossible for sinners who were in rebellion to God, but had strong agreement, how much more should we Christians be in agreement to materialize God’s Word, love, power, and blessings on planet Earth and have greater answers and manifestations to our prayers?
Satan learned that day that when agreement is broken, accomplishments are impossible. For that reason he has tried to sow division among believers since a tower of Babel and stop our accomplishments for God.
So if you want to prosper and be powerful in prayer, be certain to keep strife out of your life.
