In God’s eyes, you are a modern-day hero of faith.

We’ve heard it said that, “Jesus is the reason for the season.” That has never been more true than today. The entire world has been attacked on a scale that has never been seen before, through Satan 19 (COVID 19).

In spite of that, we rejoice as we think of the Word of God taking on flesh and dwelling among us.

John 1:1-4, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him  (the Word); and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.”

John 1:10-12, “He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came into his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”

And here’s the Christmas story:

John 1:14, “And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

The section I like the most in that revealing passage of Scripture is, “But as many as receive him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”

Because we have received the Living Word, Jesus, we have now been made the sons of God, in perfect right-standing with Him.

God has given us so much. And now this Christmas we should give back to Him what He wants. What He desires. That’s us! Give Him your life this Christmas season and live in the power of a son of God.
