God Loves You
Sometimes it’s difficult to wrap our minds around the thought that a God that we can’t even see, really does love and care for us.
Jesus taught us that God loves and cares for us more than we love and care for our own children (Matthew 7:7-11).
“Can a woman forget her own baby and not love the child she bore? Even if a mother should forget her child, I will never forget you. I have written your name on the palms of my hands” (Isaiah 49:15-16, GNB). The Amplified Bible says, “Behold, I have indelibly printed [tattooed a picture of] you on the palm of each of My hands.”
Jesus said, “If you being evil (in comparison to God) know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father, who is in heaven, give good things to them that ask Him” (Matthew 7:11, KJV).
The truth is, nothing makes God happier than to see His children blessed, happy, prosperous, and successful in everything we do. His desire is to help us experience those very things.
“Let the Lord be magnified who has pleasure in the prosperity of his servants” (Psalm 35:27). The Good News Translation uses the word “success” for prosperity. God is pleasured when you succeed and prosper.
Today you can please God by receiving His love and by loving yourself!
