Build Your Faith

“He sent His Word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction” (Psalm 107:20). What a great promise!

If we focus on and talk about the current problems that we face, and magnify their negative repercussions – the problems will grow.

So what we want to focus on and talk about is the solution, not the problem. The solution is to build our faith and trust God for supernatural protection. The solution is the Word of God, God’s wonderful promises, and the person and work of the Holy Spirit.

God’s way of ministering salvation, healing, prosperity, protection, and everything else He wants to do, is to send His Word of promise, then fulfill His promise whenever it produces faith. “He sent his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction” (Psalm 107:20).

Since everything God does He does through His Word, we could modify Psalm 107:20 this way: “He sent His Word and _______ them, and delivered them from their ________.” You fill in the blank based on what you need from God.

We could say, “He sent His Word and when His Word produced faith in the people He sent it to, and they believed it, He healed them and delivered them from destruction.”

Now, as never before, it is time to feed our faith and starve our doubts.

Our faith must take hold of God’s promises and what is written that pertains to our current situation with an unshakable determination that will refuse to be denied.

God has given us the victory, so let’s embrace it confidently!
