A New Way of Living
Ephesians 2:4-5 AMP, “But God, being so very rich in mercy, because of His great and wonderful love with which He loved us, even when we were spiritually dead and separated from Him because of our sins, He made us spiritually alive together with Christ. For by His grace, His undeserved favor and mercy, you have been saved from God’s judgment.”
What does “saved” really mean? It means God has forgiven you, made you right with Himself, and taken you into his family.
Ephesians 3:12 says, “In Jesus we have boldness and access, and confidence through faith in Him.”
The devil and mankind want you to forget who and whose you are now that you are in Christ. You are important to God. The creator of the Universe wants to talk with you, and you to talk with him.
Jeremiah 33:3, “Call on me, and I will answer you. And I will show you great and mighty things which you know not.”
As you read your Bible, spend time talking to God and hearing what He’s saying to you through His Word and His Spirit.
When you receive Jesus as your Lord, your nature changes; you have been given a brand-new nature. He has made us spiritually alive together with Christ by giving us a new nature, like His nature. You have been put in a brand-new family—the family of God.
Walk with your head up and your shoulders back, with a spring in your step and songs of praise and worship in your lips, because you are a new creature in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17).
