Acknowledge Blessings
“In the house of the righteous is much treasure” (Proverbs 15:6, KJV).
Wow! God isn’t opposed to us having money and things. The verse above tells us He wants to provide it for us. He just doesn’t want money and things to have hold over us.
Jesus revealed an amazing truth about our Heavenly Father: “It is your Father’s good pleasure to give us everything and anything that His kingdom contains” (Luke 12:32).
Understanding both a scientific and spiritual principle: The things we acknowledge and celebrate increase, while the things we neglect and aren’t thankful for exit our lives.
What I used to call amazing, fortunate, and lucky at the time of my experience, I now recognize, was none other than God’s blessing and favor. God’s favor allowed me to experience many things out of my norm that I found interesting, fascinating, and fulfilling. He did this to bless and delight me and to reveal His great love for me.
I’m sure God has been doing similar things in your life, maybe even your entire life.
I have found that acknowledging God’s blessings and favor when wonderful things happen in my life opens the door for more wonderful things to happen.
The things of God we are thankful for and celebrate increase, while the things we take for granted and call “luck” decrease and exit our lives.
I now see and acknowledge that my wonderful life experiences have been gifts God gave me from His good treasures.
Let’s praise God for the goodness that comes into our lives, knowing that more good things will come into our lives!
