Acknowledge Who You Are

“Cast all your cares on the Lord, for he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7).

Concerning worry: Other than not believing God at all, no other sin in the Bible is credited with having the power to stop the Word of God from producing what God has promised. So don’t worry!

The Word of God is so powerful that it upholds the universe. Hebrews 1:3, says that Jesus “upholds all things by the word of his power.”

So in its mature stage, the Word of God upholds the universe and keeps our planets and stars from crashing together like the balls on a pool table. But in its embryo stage, when you first hear the Word, wrong thinking and worry has the power to stop the Word from producing what God purposes for it to produce in your life.

That’s why hearing and affirming the Word regularly and frequently is so important, because the more you hear and affirm the Word, the more faith is developed to believe God.

The Bible says that, “Faith comes (grows, develops, and increases), by hearing the word of God” (Romans 10:17). And “the effectiveness of your faith becomes even more powerful as you acknowledge the good things that are in you, in Christ Jesus” (Philemon 6).

So don’t project any negative imagination or experience from your past into your future.
