Now Faith, Now God
The Bible teaches that if what you’re believing is not NOW, it’s not faith. Faith is not what you used to believe, or what you will someday believe, it’s what you believe this very moment.
God introduced Himself to Moses at the burning bush as the great I AM (Exodus 3:14). Notice that I AM is in the ever continuous present tense.
Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is what gives substance to the things you hope for.” Notice that now faith is also in the ever continuous present tense. If it’s not now, it’s not faith.
When your (in this present moment) now faith connects with the great (in this present moment) I AM, manifestations happen.
Your (in this present moment) now faith and the now (in this present moment)I AM God make contact and blend together in this present moment, and that’s when power and effectiveness in prayer occurs.
To think that miracles and great answers to prayer aren’t supposed to be expected and consistent today is to change the “I AM” of God, to “I used to be,” or “One of these days I’ll be.” God can’t be changed, He remains the same.
Jesus said, “If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you will ask what you want, and it shall be done for you. By your asking and receiving is my Father glorified,” (John 15:7-8).
Jesus doesn’t want any delay in getting the Father glory for answering your prayers. He wants you to receive what you asked for, right away.
Stay in the moment with God, every moment!
