Power to Get Wealth
God says, “I give you power to get wealth” (Deuteronomy 8:18), and “Beloved, I wish above all things that you prosper” (3 John 2), and “Wealth and riches are a gift from God” (Ecclesiastes 5:19).
Wow! God really wants you to prosper this year!
When God delivered the children of Israel out of Egyptian bondage, He fully intended for them to be prosperous and blessed just like Abraham was.
That’s also what He intends for you. “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, so that the blessing of Abraham can come upon us” (Galatians 3:13).
In the following passage, notice that God did not say, “If” you build goodly houses and dwell therein, and “If” your herds and your flocks multiply, and “If” your silver and your gold is multiplied, and “If” all that you have is multiplied. God said, “When,” meaning, it was a sure thing. Certain to happen.
God promised to make each and every one of His children wealthy.
“When you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless the LORD your God for the good land which he has given you. 11 Beware that you forget not the LORD your God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command you this day: 12 Lest when you have eaten and are full, and have built goodly houses, and dwelt therein; 13 And when your herds and your flocks multiply, and (when) your silver and your gold is multiplied, and (when) all that you have is multiplied; 14 Then your heart be lifted up, and you forget the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage” (Deuteronomy 8:10-14).
All the prosperity and blessings that God promised every Israelite happened for them, and can happen for you too.
