Faith in Jesus' Name

What things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them” (Mark 11:24).

I want to give you some principles for developing faith in the name of Jesus. The first thing I recommend is that you consider the achievements, history, and greatness of Jesus.

Whenever the beginning was, He was already there (Genesis 1:1; John 1:1). “All things were made by Him and without Him was not anything made that was made” (John 1:3). He made the universe (Hebrews 1:2). He “upholds all things by the Word of His power” (Hebrews 1:3). He “laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of His hands” (Hebrews 1:10). “He tells the number of the stars; and He calls them all by their names” (Psalm 147:4).

Then I want you to consider the earth walk of Jesus.

“Jesus went about doing good, healing all who were oppressed of the devil” (Acts 10:38). Throughout the Gospels He opened blind eyes, healed the sick and dying, raise the dead, fed the multitude, walked on water, and much more.

Always remember that Jesus remains “the same yesterday and today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).

There is power in that name!
