How Faith Works

“The Lord works wonders for those he loves” (Psalm 4:3).

In order for Abraham to not grow weary and faint in his mind when God told him he would have a child in his old age, Abraham undergirded his faith with praise.

Praise is a key ingredient to having your prayers answered.

Abraham actually praised God for the answer until the promise of a child fully materialized.

I have noticed that it’s not difficult to find scriptures that promise you what you have need of. The Bible is full of great promises. The Bible calls them, "Divine and precious promises” (2 Peter 1:3-4).

So you need to find the promise that meets your need and believe you receive it. And then, thank God for the answer until the promise is fully materialized for you.

That’s how Abraham did it, and that’s how you must do it, too. Get the promise of God. Pray and believe you receive what God said, knowing the promise is true to you. Believing that God has granted you what He has promised. And then, undergird your faith by thanking Him every day that what you ask for has been granted, and is in the process of being materialized.

So many people have asked me how the faith process works. Well, the above information is it in a nutshell.

Put to practice the principles of God and start seeing God’s results in a much greater way.
