Stopping Stress

God told you to, “Cast all your cares on him, for he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7). The Amplified Bible says, “He cares for you affectionately, and cares about you watchfully.” I really like that!

“Don’t worry about anything, but pray about everything. With thankful hearts offer up your prayers and requests to God” (Philippians 4:6, CEV).

God promised that, “He will keep you in perfect peace if your mind is stayed on him” (Isaiah 26:3). Peace is the platform that faith must operate from.

You keep your mind stayed on God by thinking about His love, His promises, and His goodness. You can’t keep your mind stayed on God when you are worrying.

God said to “Commit your ways unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass” (Psalm 37:5).

The more you commit to God and trust Him, the less you will think about your hindrances, problems, obstacles, and impossibilities, and the less stress you will feel.

When you commit and trust, and stop stressing out, the more God will help you overcome your problems and do the seemingly impossible for you. “With God all things are possible” (Matthew 17:20; Luke 1:37).

You are with God, and therefore all things are possible to you!
