Unsearchable Riches in Christ
“The things which are impossible with men are possible with God” (Luke 18:27).
The infinite resources of God available to us have never been, and can never be fully explored.
Ephesians 3:8, speaks about the “unsearchable riches in Christ.” Since they are unsearchable, that means they cannot be calculated or inventoried because they are so vast. These unsearchable riches are made available to every child of God who will draw upon them in faith.
Putting Philippians 4:19 together with Ephesians 3:8, we can conclude that, “God will abundantly supply our every need, want, and desire, according to His unsearchable riches in glory contained in Christ Jesus” and as a Christian, you are IN-Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).
One of the shortest verses in the Bible is a command that simply says, “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17). It would be unjust and ridiculous for God to tell us to “pray without ceasing” if He didn’t have every intention of fulfilling what we pray. Prayer is not “busywork” assigned by God to give us something to do to occupy our time. Prayer is believing and releasing God to move in a mighty way to help us and others.
Since God’s infinite resources are available to us, we should regularly pray for increase of prosperity to meet our needs and desires and benefit others.
