Overcome With Words

“And they (the believers) overcame him (the devil and all of life’s problems) by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony” (Revelation 12:11).

We believers are victorious because of what the blood of Jesus accomplished, and by the words we speak. The Good News Bible says they overcame “by the truth they proclaimed.” And regarding His Father, Jesus said, “Your word is truth” (John 17:17). That means we receive from God and overcome the devil and all problems by believing and proclaiming or speaking God’s truth, which is God’s Word and promises.

It’s time to stop speaking negative things and start speaking the promises of God! If you are experiencing negative things, speak the opposite of those negative things; speak blessings. Implementing God’s promises and what we desire into our daily conversation. Eliminating fear, doubt, unbelief, and the things we don’t want from our daily conversation is critical if we want to experience the Life More Abundantly that Jesus promised and died to give us.

God authorizes you to speak about what you don’t yet have in your possession as if you do have in your possession.

“Let the weak say, I am strong” (Joel 3:10). Always speak the outcome that you desire! Regularly speak forth the end result that God promised and you desire. Do this especially when you’re being bombarded with bad circumstances and problems.

If you are sick, say, “I am healed.” If you are broke, say, “My every need is met in abundance.” If you are weak, say, “I am strong.”

Stop talking about things the way they are and start talking about the way things could be or should be based on your desire and God’s Word of promise.
