God's Bounty for You

Let me start by saying, “Happy New Year!”

“For the Lord God is a sun and shield. The Lord will give grace and glory, and to the innocent lives He never refuses His bounty” (Psalm 84:11, Knox).

As we begin this new year, let me encourage you to set a code, a standard for your life. What will you tolerate, and what will you allow?

People in general, and many Christians make New Year’s resolutions that they feel will improve their lives. And yet, within a few weeks they have drifted away from what they desired to accomplish.

Don’t let that be you!

From our verse above, God promised to the innocent lives He would never refuse His bounty. That means, God wants to show His generosity and abundance to you.

Make up your mind that in this new year you are going to receive a new realm of blessings from God. God wants to share His bounty with you. The devil wants to share his curses with you. You are the one that gets to choose by your thoughts, words, actions, and beliefs.

Choose the life more abundantly that Jesus came to give you (John 10:10)!
