Be Full of Confidence

Over the years I have heard so many people pray and tell God that they are unworthy and undeserving of His blessing. The Bible says that we should tell God the opposite. In fact we should be bold and confident when we talk to God.

Hebrews 10:22, “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance (confidence, boldness) of faith…”

Ephesians 3:12, “In whom (in Jesus) we have boldness and access with confidence.”

In so many passages we see the words: boldly, boldness, assurance, and confidence, when talking about our relationship and approach to God.

Under normal conditions, the believer’s proper approach before God is with praise and thanksgiving. There are, however, times when pressing matters need to be brought before God without delay. An example of this would be breaking news on TV or radio informing you of an earthquake or plane crash. Lives depend on you reaching God immediately, so He can help them. We are assured that we have instant access to the presence of God as we act boldly to take care of prayer business.

“Come boldly to the throne of grace” (Hebrews 4:16), is an open invitation from the God of this universe to you. We would be very foolish not to take advantage of His invitation.

God is your righteousness!
