Restored to Health

Building your faith and confidence in God is like building muscle. You cannot simply do ten push-ups only one-time and suddenly have super strong arms for the rest of your life. It takes a regular exercise regimen to develop and sustain physical strength.

The same goes for developing faith in healing or anything else you desire from God. You have to be disciplined and stick with it. Keep internalizing and personalizing God’s Word and making your affirmations of faith.

Just as repetition of exercising builds muscles, repetition of reading healing scriptures and affirmations builds faith for healing. Remember, the purpose of God’s promise is its fulfillment. God’s Word shall prove true in your case.

Personalize and internalize what God said to you in Jeremiah 33:17.

NIV – But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord…

New American Bible – For I will restore you to health...

New World – For I shall bring up a recuperation for you, and from your strokes I shall heal you…

The fastest way to build your faith to receive healing is by speaking God’s promises continuously. The Bible says faith comes to you as you hear what God has to say (Romans 10:17).

Make the following Affirmation of Faith whether or not you need healing. If you are not currently sick, God’s Word on healing can keep you from getting sick. And if you are sick, God’s Word on healing will heal you.

“Father, I thank You and praise You for restoring my health and keeping me healthy. I thank You that You are curing and healing me.”
