Do You Need Healing?

By being on radio for more than 40 years I have received thousands of prayer requests. One of the top requests is for physical healing.

“One who was there had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, do you want to get well?” (John 5:6, NIV)

Jesus, the Great Physician, knew provision was made to heal the man.  The question Jesus asked the man was… “Do you want to get well?” In other words, “Do you know provision has been made to heal you?”

Jesus is asking today, “Do you want to get well?” Or, “Do you know provision has been made to heal you?”

We Christian’s should all work at developing faith to appropriate the healing benefits of the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. Healing was purchased for you through the redemptive work of Jesus and is available to you, but it will require your willingness and cooperation to receive it.

As like a seed, God’s Word will grow in you and will produce faith for healing that is provided and promised by God.

Jesus obviously wanted the invalid to be healed. He wanted everyone He came in contact with to be healed and it’s the same today, because, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).
