Plant God's Seeds

“Jesus said, “Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it? 31 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth: 32 But when it is sown, it grows up, and becomes greater than all herbs, and shoots out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it” (Mark 4:30-32).

Once again, did you notice the first part of verse 32? “But when it is sown, it grows up, and becomes greater than….”

The Word of God, when it is sown, grows up and becomes greater than ___________________. You fill in the blank.

The Word of God, when it is sown (in your heart and mind), grows up and becomes greater than poverty, lack, insufficiency, sickness, disease, failure, loss, and every negative thing that has attacked you.

  • God’s promise to heal is God’s seed that will produce healing as its offspring.

  • God’s promise of peace is God’s seed that will produce peace as its offspring.

  • God’s promise of victory is God’s seed that will produce victory as its offspring.

  • God’s promise of prosperity is God’s seed that will produce prosperity as its offspring.

  • God’s promise of abundance is God’s seed that will produce abundance as its offspring.

  • God’s promise of favor is God’s seed that will produce favor as its offspring.

  • God’s promise of anything is God’s seed that will produce anything He has promised as its offspring.

Thus the need to sow and water and continue sowing and watering the seeds of God’s Word regarding His Will and promise to prosper us, heal us, give us peace and guidance, and make us rightly rich.
