God's Word in You

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord” (Colossians 3:16).

It is not only committing God’s Word to memory, which is valuable, but it is letting His Word become an integral part of our being. Let it live in us big time.

It is God’s Word dwelling in you that is equivalent to Christ personally being with you and in you. Letting the Word have the right away in your life is letting Christ have the right away. The Word dominating you is the Lordship of Jesus Christ in you.

Acts 20:32, “And now I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among them which are sanctified. When you internalize and believe the Word of God’s grace, it gives you your inheritance.

God’s Word builds the Christ-nature in you and the love-nature of the Father into you. God is building Himself into us, making Himself a part of us as the Word of God dominates us, rules us, and satisfies our spiritual nature. 2 Peter 1:4, “God has made us qualified to be partakers of His divine nature by the Word of God.” WOW!
