Connection With God

“God sent His Word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions” (Psalm 107:20).

God’s way of doing things on earth and blessing His people is to send His Word to us. When believers pick God’s Word up, think God’s Word in their minds, hide God’s Word in their hearts, use God’s Word in prayer, and use the Word to resist the devil, God materializes His Word for us.

Your Bible, the Word of God, is God speaking to you. God and His Word are one (John 1:1). Jesus is the Word. Jesus is the Living Word (John 1:1).

Hebrews 4:12 says, “…the Word of God is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword.”

The Logos of God is a living thing (Moffat’s Translation). The Word of God, the Logos of God, is a living thing – not in the book, not on the written page of the Bible, but in the hearts and lives of believers everywhere.

God’s Word is our contact with God. The Word of God is our contract with God. It’s our covenant and connection with God.
