You Are a Child of God

2 Corinthians 6:18 says, “And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.’’

You are a child of God! The second you confess with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you are saved, Romans 10:9-10. You became a child of God, and the God of this universe became your Heavenly Father.

You now have full rights and privileges as God’s child. God is with you and for you and stands ready to help you in any area in which you need help. Your job is to study and find out what God did for you when He raised Jesus from the dead. As a child of God, all of your sins are forgiven forever.

1 John 1:9 states that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Right now, the enemy is plotting against you to try to bring you under condemnation. But with Jesus Christ as your Lord, you have been forgiven of all sins and misdeeds. As a Christian, you stand before God without a sense of guilt, without a sense of shame, and without a sense of fear, knowing God accepts you and loves you just as you are.

The devil had his paparazzi following you around, recording your mistakes. But Jesus took all that and nailed it to his cross Colossians 2:14.

It’s great to know that you are free from the consequences of sin and are now a child of God.

God is with you, and God is for you!
