It's Your Turn to Be Blessed
“The Blessing of the Lord, ‘IT’ makes you rich, and he adds no sorrow with it” (Proverbs 10:22).
The Blessing of the Lord will be in our lives forever, so we need to tap into it and start using it now. From Psalm 8, we know believers will eventually rule planets, galaxies, and star systems with and for God. We've got an exciting future!
It was “The Blessing” that enabled Adam and Eve to do God-like stuff and to eat every fruit from the garden (except the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil).
By not utilizing “The Blessing” in the area of authority and dominion, Adam and Eve forfeited “The Blessing.” Don’t let that be your story too.
When Adam and Eve failed to do what God commanded them to do (subduing the earth, which included the serpent) and disobeyed God by eating the forbidden fruit, “The Blessing” was forfeited.
God would later reinstate “The Blessing” to certain people.
After Adam and Eve forfeited “The Blessing.” it was transferred to Noah and his sons. God blessed Noah and his sons and gave them authority similar to that of Adam and Eve before the fall.
Genesis 9:1-2, After the floodwaters subsided, “And God ‘Blessed’ Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, and upon everything that moves upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.”
Today, God has blessed you and wants you to experience and enjoy the benefits of “The Blessing” and be in a position to bless others.
