The Importance of Favor
Psalm 27:7 NIV, “Hear my voice when I call, O LORD (Favor); be merciful to me and answer me” (Favor).
Over the past several weeks, I’ve been sharing the importance of believing in God for favor. No matter how long you’ve been in the Lord, one of the foundational principles remains important—memorizing Scripture and then frequently quoting it.
The more you memorize and recite healing Scriptures, the healthier you become. The more you memorize and quote prosperity Scriptures, the more prosperous you become. When it comes to favor Scriptures, the more you memorize and recite them, the more favor God pours into your life.
Below, you’ll find some Scriptures that I encourage you to memorize and speak frequently over your life and the lives of your loved ones.
Psalm 27:5 NIV says, “For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling (Favor); he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle (Favor) and set me high upon a rock” (Favor).
Psalm 27:6 NIV, “Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me (Favor); at his tabernacle will I sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the LORD.”
Psalm 27:8 NIV, “My heart says of you, “Seek his face!” Your face, LORD, I will seek.”
Psalm 27:9 NIV, “Do not hide your face from me, do not turn your servant away in anger; you have been my helper (Favor). Do not reject me or forsake me, O God my Savior.”
Psalm 27:10 NIV, “Though my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will receive me” (Favor).
If you’ve experienced forsakenness or betrayal by people, God promises He will receive, help, and care for you.
