Favor, God's Incredible Gift

Today, God is highly favoring you!

When you first hear about favor, you might think, “Yeah, yeah, sure, favor is good, I’m sure it’s important.” However, when you start seeing favor from cover to cover in your Bible and how it relates to nearly every aspect of God’s blessings. Soon, you want to believe God for favor in your own life.

I want to share just a few scriptures that illustrate how favor is incorporated into seemingly unrelated to and not specially identified as a favor.

You will be blessed as you commit these verses to memory!

Psalm 27:1 (NIV), “The LORD is my light (favor) and my salvation (favor) whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life (favor) of whom shall I be afraid?” Although Scripture doesn’t use the word “favor,” you can see that favor causes those good things to come to pass for you.

Psalm 27:2 (NIV), “When evil men advance against me to devour my flesh, when my enemies and my foes attack me, they will stumble and fall” (favor).

Psalm 27:3 (NIV), “Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear (favor); though war break out against me, even then will I be confident.” Why can you be confident when problems outnumber you? Favor. You know that God is on your side, and His favor is upon your life.

Psalm 27:4 (NIV), “One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life (favor), to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.” You usually don’t like people in your presence that you dislike. God welcomes you in His presence because He favors and enjoys you.

Enjoy the favor God gives you with Himself and everyone you come in contact with.
