New Things Ahead

Proverbs 21:2, “Every way of a man is right in his own eyes.”

Everyone believes in their heart that they're doing life the right way, yet we're all experiencing different results. And many times, our results are different from what we desire.

We learned to do things and think about things a certain way from our family (that's how we do things in our family), our schools and friends, our jobs, our churches, society, and being Americans.

We have been disciplined to do and think about certain things in a certain way. And if what we think and do doesn’t work, we’ve got to make some changes that will.

John 8:31-32, Jesus said, “If you continue in my word then are my disciples indeed and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

We have to become disciplined in Jesus' way of doing and thinking. That way, we are assured of getting good results—God's results.

Maybe you have been disciplined to believe the only thing you can have in your future is what you’ve had in your past. Your future doesn't have to look like your past!

God said, “Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:19).

God wants you to forget the negatives of the past and move forward to the positive new things He has for you.

Better days are ahead for you!
