A Bigger Life for You

Luke16:19-22, “There was a certain rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day. But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate, desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover, the dogs came and licked his sores. So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom.”

Please notice that when the beggar died, he was carried to Abraham’s bosom. That means he believed in God. But like many Christians today, he desired to be fed with crumbs. God has much more for you as a king’s kid than just crumbs.

You can be hooked up to God but unable to imagine abundance. God wants you to have an abundance of all good things!

Psalm 119:130, “The entrance of thy words give light; it gives understanding to the simple.” Nothing happens to improve your life until the light comes in! Especially in the area of provision and abundance.

Ephesians 1:17-20 is the prayer that the apostle Paul prayed for the believers in Ephesus. It’s a good prayer for you and me today. He prayed, “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places.”

God wants a bigger life for Christians everywhere, and that includes you!
