Made a New Person

Do you know that God made you brand-new? He did!

2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature (He has been born-again: John 3:3, and made new by the Holy Spirit); the old things have passed away. Behold, all things are new.” That’s because when we receive Jesus as Lord, our nature changes. We are now ONE with God and have the same nature Jesus has. (Obviously, we aren’t all-knowing, all-powerful, and everywhere present at once. But a Christian’s nature has been changed to the nature of Jesus.)

Most people want to turn back the clock because their lives seem like a series of high-speed crashes with heavy consequences. Jesus gives us a new start and a new life. We are new creatures in Christ Jesus.

You are saved and changed by the wonderful grace of God.

Ephesians 2:8, Amplified Bible, says, “For it is by grace (God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ) that you have been saved (delivered from judgment and given eternal life with Him) through faith. And this (salvation) is not of yourselves (not through your own effort and good works), but it is the undeserved gift of God.”

Wow! God’s grace and love for us is amazing!

If you’re under attack or having a bad day, you need to stop and remind yourself of who you are IN-Christ. You are not a victim; you are a victor in all circumstances through God’s grace.
