You Have the Authority

A ransom has been paid for your life. You have been redeemed!

Galatians 3:13-14 says that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law being made a curse for us, for it is written, cursed is every one that hangs on a tree so that the blessing of Abraham can come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ.

Jesus bought you back, brought you back, redeemed you, ransomed you, delivered you, and purchased your freedom from the curse of the broken Law by being made a curse for you.

Jesus stood in your place as your substitute and bore the consequences and penalty of the curse for you. Now that you have been redeemed, you have authority.

Luke 10:19 says, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

Matthew 28:18-19 says, “…and Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and earth. Go ye therefore and teach all nations…”

When Jesus said, “Go ye therefore,” He gave us the power of attorney to use His authority and power until He returns.

John 14:12, Jesus said, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believes on me, the works that I do shall you do also; and greater works than these shall you do; because I go to my Father.”

So, as a believer in the Lord Jesus, God has given you power and authority to do supernatural things.
