God's Promises Are For You

Wow! Are you tapping into God’s wonderful promises that He made to you?

God desires that you pick up, believe, and utilize every promise He made to benefit your life.

Psalm 91:4-5, “God will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings shall you trust: his truth shall be your shield and your buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flies by day.”

Isaiah 50:7-8 KJV “For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded (perplexed, bewildered, or befuddled): therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed. He is near that justifies me; who will contend with me?”

Did you see the writer's confidence in knowing God will help him? Did you see that he refuses to be confounded? Did you see that he has set his face like a flint? Did you see he refuses to be ashamed because he knows God will come through for him? Did you see that he knows his faith justifies him? Did you see he doesn’t believe anyone can contend with him and prevail?

That should be your mindset, too! When it comes to getting what you want, set your face like a flint. Bite the bullet. Do what you have to do. Demonstrate some intestinal fortitude. Persevere. Your persistence wears down your enemy’s resistance. Man up. Press on. Never quit. Pull on God. Move forward. There’s nothing to it but to do it.

Remember that “all the promises of God in Jesus Christ are yes and amen” (2 Corinthians 1:20).
