Determination Rules

Last week, we discovered that to achieve His goal of saving and delivering us from evil, Jesus had to do several things.

  1. Jesus steadfastly set His face.

  2. He resolutely set out.

  3. He gathered up His courage.

  4. He steeled Himself.

  5. He moved steadily onward with an iron will.

When you implement the determination and persistence of Jesus in accomplishing what you desire, nothing can stop you.

What used to trip you up and be a stumbling block will now become your stepping-stone. God will work with you and confirm His Word with signs and miracles following (Mark 16:20).

You were made for more! You were made to achieve your dreams and goals. But for most of us, the hassle, discouragement, letdowns, negative input from those around us, and sometimes just laziness keep us from pursuing what we told ourselves we truly want.

Confess by using the five things Jesus did to redeem us and decree the following with enthusiasm and faith.

  • I steadfastly set my face to have and achieve ___________________.

  • I resolutely set out to have and achieve ___________________.

  • I gather my courage to have and achieve ___________________.

  • I steel myself towards my goal of having and achieving ___________________.

Confess, “Every day I move steadily onward with an iron will to have my desire!”
