Something Good is Coming Your Way

Are you ready for something better? Something more?

Let me continue from the two principles of victory I gave you in my last blog. Victory lesson three is using the Word of God to create a better future.

Without pretending to be a fortuneteller, a farmer predicts his future by the seeds he sows. Likewise, you can predict your future by taking control of five things you interact with every day. Take control of what you allow yourself to hear, think, say, believe, and do, and you'll create an amazing future.

God wants you to customize, sculpt, engineer, design, and predict your future by using the Word of God and your faith. In Mark 4, Jesus compares the farmer’s seed to the Word of God.

Nearly all of Mark chapter 4 is devoted to Jesus’s teaching about a farmer sowing seeds and reaping a harvest. He describes different types of ground the seeds fall on, comparing the ground to our hearts, and likens the seed to the Word of God. In this setting, Jesus teaches a powerful truth: the Word of God is greater than anything.

Mark 4:3-32, “And Jesus said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? Or with what comparison shall we compare it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth: But when it is sown, it grows up, and becomes greater than all herbs, and shoots out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.”

The Word of God contains every blessing that pertains to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3-4). Something good is coming your way.
