Mustard Seed Faith
In Mark 4:30-32, Jesus alludes to the fact that the Word of God is the greatest of all seeds. John 1:1-4 explains that all things were made through the Word of God, and nothing was made without it.
In comparing the Word of God to a mustard seed, Jesus said, “When it is sown, it grows up and becomes greater than…”
By applying Jesus’ teaching in Mark 4:30-32 and substituting “the Word of God” for “mustard seed,” as Jesus Himself implied in Mark 4:13, we begin to see a powerful truth:
“The Word of God, when it is sown, grows up, and becomes greater than _______.” You fill in the blank.
God’s Word, when planted in your heart, will grow and become greater than sickness, disease, grief, sorrow, depression, failure, poverty, sin, loss—whatever you’re facing.
This is one of the greatest revelations you can receive: God’s Word in you is greater than _______ (you name it).
