God's Great Favor For You
We’ve been looking at the success of Daniel in the Bible, and we’ve discovered that God attributed his success to favor.
Even though Daniel was in captivity, he was promoted to a position of leadership and led the nation. Daniel expected good things to happen for him, even in bad places.
Jesus said, “If any man serves me, him will my Father honor” (John 12:26).
To be honored and successful in life with God’s help, your Heavenly Father, you must serve Jesus. That’s the requirement from John 12:26.
I grew up with the poverty mentality.
My parents lived through the great depression in the 1930s. Although they eventually had the money to do it, they never remodeled their house, never bought a new car, never took a great vacation. I believe it was the fear of losing what they had if they spent money on purchasing something they desired.
When I received Jesus as Lord, I began to study what the Bible says about prosperity and favor. Since that time, I’ve been to more than 70 countries. I’ve skydived in Aruba, scuba dived with the sharks in the Bahamas, seen the northern lights, and witnessed the migration of the wildebeests. All because of God’s great favor that He has for every one of His children.
