Renewed Confidence in Prayer
“How we thank you Lord! Your mighty miracles get proof that you care” (Psalm 75:1, TLB).
It’s super important that you have confidence when you pray.
I John 3:21-22, “Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then we have confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask (pray), we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.”
Since confidence is a necessary ingredient in prayer, Satan sends condemnation to the believer to destroy confidence and therefore destroy effective prayer.
Condemnation is a feeling or sense of unworthiness. Condemnation is a feeling or sense of guilt. Condemnation is a fear of non-acceptance (not being accepted by God because of your poor performance or sin).
For a Christian to have a sin consciousness or inferiority complex means this Christian is listening to the devil and not God.
God is telling you, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit” (Romans 8:1).
Dump the condemnation and find out who God has made you to be in Christ!
