God's Protection

Today God’s Word and power is working in you mightily!

Our scriptures today promise complete protection from all evil. The goal here is not to be on a marathon to read as many verses as possible, but to get the verses presented here as a working reality in your life. Repetition is a great teacher, and repetition is how faith grows (Romans 10:17).

Psalm 91:1-6, NIV, He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.

Knox – He who lives under the protection of the Most High, under His heavenly care, content to abide, can say to the Lord, Thou are my support and my strong-hold, my God, in whom I trust. It is He that rescues me from every treacherous snare, from every whisper of harm. Sheltered under His arms, under His wings nestling, thou are safe; His faithfulness will throw a shield about thee. Nothing shalt thou fear from nightly terrors…from the assault of man or fiend under the noon.

Good News – He will keep you safe from all hidden dangers and from all deadly diseases.
