God's Favor Is Yours

In our everyday interaction with people, we need favor. With God’s favor in your life, people will automatically like you and go out of their way to help you.

Daniel 1:9, “Now God had brought Daniel into favor and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.”

Daniel had terrible circumstances. He was in captivity. He was in a foreign land. He was a hated Jew. There was no reason for him to find favor with the enemy leaders. Yet, “God had brought Daniel into favor.” God will bring you into favor if you believe Him to do it!

Daniel had a favor mentality. Favor was broadcast from Daniel’s spirit to the receiving station of those around him. Daniel kept a positive attitude despite adverse surroundings. Daniel expected good things to happen for him, even in bad places.

A river of success, favor, and graciousness flowed deep within Daniel. He had a covenant with God and knew it. It was a covenant of favor.

Although a captive in a strange land, Daniel handled himself as if he was a prince. He walked in integrity, authority, strength, wisdom, victory, and favor. You can do the same!

Daniel had a favor consciousness, while many others in captivity had a failure consciousness. A favor consciousness is a character quality that God wants every believer to develop and walk in. Discouragement and defeat were out of the question for Daniel. Get some grit, and get to the place where discouragement and failure are out of the question for you.
