God's Secret Favor For You

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man” (Luke 2:52). The story of Jesus’ birth through his childhood begins and ends with favor (Luke 1:28, 2:52).

We have talked for many weeks about the importance of believing in God for favor. I really trust your life has been increased and blessed so far.

God will do amazing things in your life as you believe Him for unusual and uncommon favor. You must share some of the things He will do with others to magnify the goodness of God and encourage them. Let them know that God will do similar things for them if they sincerely believe Him for favor.

Some ways God blesses you are for others to know and celebrate. God wants you to be a role model for His favor. However, some things God does for you are only for you. You must keep some things to yourself and hide them in your heart as Mary did. They are given for you to ponder God’s goodness to you personally. They won’t be for others to know. They will be for you to know deep inside, knowing God is with you, God is for you, and God favors you.

God is granting you amazing experiences, acquaintances, and things to let you see and know His wonders so you will hide them in your heart and become a bigger person for Him. You will find that many of the things God does for you because He favors you are to remain a secret between you and God.

Think of what God does for you as a “confidence-giving secret” between you and God. A confidence-giving-secret will instill confidence, courage, peace, and faith in God.
