Our Amazing Authority
“The Blessing” that was given to Adam and Eve in Genesis 1:28 and would be passed on to their future offspring. This blessing would enable them to take the devastated earth and create garden-like conditions everywhere they went.
Today, “The Blessing” empowers you to create garden-like conditions wherever you go. As an official representative and Ambassador of God and Heaven, “The Blessing” upon you is to create a sort of mobile “Heavenly Embassy” so that wherever you go, the conditions around you will become garden-like, reflecting heaven on earth (Deuteronomy 11:21).
Part of “The Blessing” is that “your days may be… as the days of heaven upon the earth” (Deuteronomy 11:21).
After the earth was replenished (made complete again), Adam and Eve’s offspring were to rule and reign over planets, galaxies, star systems, and the universe with God.
Get a load of what God said in Psalm 8:3-6. “When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels (the word for Angel here is Elohim and should have been translated as God), And You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet.”
It’s important to note that the Hebrew word for “angels” in this verse is “Elohim,” which is translated as “God” throughout the Old Testament. The translators may not have fully grasped the enormity of man’s position and authority. We are not just servants; we are sons of God. Angels are simply ministering spirits. This is our divine lineage, a testament to God’s love for us.
Wow! The scope of our authority in Christ is amazing.
